Custom Pallet Design

Description:

We believe that information, communication and education are critical factors in service excellence. We utilize Pallet Design System™ (PDS), the world’s premier analysis and pallet design tool. PDS is backed by over 40 years of cutting edge research and development between the NWPCA (National Wooden Pallet & Container Association), Virginia Tech and the U.S. Forest Service. We use PDS to analyze pallet designs and load strengths for all types of industries ranging from pharmaceuticals, to building materials, to home furnishings. PDS has the ability to analyze pallets under four conditions:

  • Racked Across Stringers (RAS), where the stringer supports the unit load, typical front to back pallet racking
  • Racked Across Deckboard (RAD), where the deckboards support the unit load
  • Drive in racking or drive through racking, where a single pallet under load rests on the floor
  • Modeling loaded pallets stacked on top of each other for loaded pallets stacked 3-, 4-, or even 5-high in storage
